@blitz77tw_PSN Yup, they do this every year. They loosen up and give more mid game cycle after the stub sales dry up. It’s just getting worse every year.

I am grinding and I am giving myself a headache -- I am hating my life right now.

If the issue is they do not want players to get 3 to 5 ish wheel spins a day then put a cooldown on it or put a 2 spins limit in 18 hours or something. I am begging SDS to please extend Double XP even just extend it to tues and end it right before the new content makes no sense to end it on a Monday

Ditka ditto just passed that number too

Sunday, I had 2 nice 9 inning romps with my semi-god squad to get to Doerr, but I work overnights, so I may only get in 2 more games Monday after some rest before double XP expires.
Selfishly, I play HUT as well, and still need to grind their 'Wildcard' mode and 'Team of the week' objectives. I already put them on hold to capitalize on dxp. Extending it should get me to the boss pack, and the single packs that i'm sure i'll pull Ohtani from 🤪. I dont need the wheel spin. Didn't make it last inning either!!

I'm at about 375k; however, I've only finished four TAs and have 13 Jolt cards. So I have a lot of 5k boosts (around 50kish on team TAs) that put me higher than someone else who plays at my rate and already finished everything in the first inning.

Done for night ( 12:45 ish PST ) -- ended at a tad over 475 so close but i figure the program Tues will have at least 5k XP prolly 10 so just doing a little more on side up until Fri at noon so should be fine but killing myself tonight should not have been needed.

Reminds me of the old joke.

Patient: Doctor, it hurts when I do this.
    Doctor: Then don't do that.

I realize some people have a drive to finish all of the content and try to get all of the cards but at some point we have to decide for ourselves whether those goals are worth the aggravation of trying to complete them.

SDS will be far more likely to change the requirements or up the XP rewards in subsequent innings if they see that people just gave up on an inning and stopped playing than they are if they see a huge spike in game hours played in the final week of the Inning as people force themselves to play even more.

I feel like this game is a job right now and guess what in 45 to 60 days they will come out and say the following ... " We heard the feedback and starting now and for the rest of the game cycle we will extend Double XP for the whole week "

Yup, I haven't changed my play time much aside from the past two weeks because frankly, it wasn't worth it. So my primary example is inning 1. I could usually hit the boss packs no problem...but 1st inning I barely made 432k. Now this inning I JUST made Bobby Doerr. I know there's a ton of people who hit the boss pack, but there's also a ton of people in the same boat as me who aren't getting them for the second straight inning. They either need to bump XP up or extend the double XP.

Agreed, usually it's kinda...not sneaky but you don't notice it as much. This year has been noticeably worse with the card cap to limit stub making

    No doubt.

I've always had the desire to do so, but when the thing is an absolute slog and just feels like you're barely getting anything for the grind, that's a problem.

I think a ton of people did this, more than anyone at SDS would care to admit

That's very true. I played probably played a grand total of 3-4 hours this past weekend. I am at the 400,000 xp mark now. Probably play for a couple hours this evening after work. Probably could make 500,000 by the end don't know if I really care that much to do so. It's not worth the frustration I have enough of that at work. Not going to kill myself getting Randy or Babe, if I want them that bad II can purchase them from the marketplace.

I just hit Doerr and don't see myself getting a boss pack (as usual). Definitely no wheel spins here.

I do not know the number exactly but it feels like they have lowered XP from programs the smaller one's like Topps Now 's Program by half ish. If they are going to do this then they have to either go back to extending Double XP and/or add 10 to 15 % min to the raw XP

Side off topic note -- Seems like they want to push the offline players into some online but when I see vids from streamers about this cheat program that has it's own discord and such and other issues for online play. How do you expect the offline grinders to want to jump into that pit of mud ??

Yep, reinstalled 25, and will buy whatever Konami drops in July. I'm done with these unqualified devs and these half-wit EA executive rejects.

@blitz77tw_PSN If you try to push offline players online, you will just end up pushing them away. No one has to play the game and if they wanted to play online, they would be playing online. You will push some online... but you will push exponentially more to another game. The core draw of DD has always been you can play however you want and all end up in the same place, some paths are just longer than others. That is still basically true, but instead of a longer path, single players are just faced with a wall of jungle and a butter knife to cut their way through.

I am not disagreeing with you Mietha --

This was my point and they have been trying this "pushing" offline players for years now and my guess it only converts MAYBE 5% over to even semi part time online players. They need to just accept this and adjust it for the offline players or and this might sounds cold but at least I would respect them being honest. -- tell the offline players flat out -- you really need to dabble online or be behind the eightball for the XP path etc. and we are not going to adjust to you.

I play this game an embarrassing amount and still not to 400 XP yet. Never failed to get 5-15 wheel spins before.
Wondering how many others won't make it to the end?
Extending double XP would give lots of us the chance. I'm aware this has been talked about a lot, just interested to see what percentage will fall short.

I'm not there either and I play a lot. Makes me wonder if the cheaters getting XP quickly last season gave them false data.

I am at 460K and will probably make it to 500K but I bought the game toward the end of the 1st inning so I had all the Conquest maps, TA, DQ, etc. to pretty much use for 2nd inning. There is no way I will come close to 3rd inning unless they increase the content drops or increase the XP gain. 2K stubs at 475K XP is garbage but it could be worse and could be a Ballin pack and get a 400 stub gold like usual

I was trying to play just now to get more double XP, but lineout after lineout, scripted double plays, as in they'll hit your batter to re-set up the DP, for instance. Baseball is a frustrating enough game. Mike Piazza used to say it all the time.
Diving plays against, galore, then they troll you by offering L2 to see it again?
I was into it yesterday. I was mashing. On Veteran vs. the CPU, but it was fun. Today though, rushing to get DXP in before 3 eastern isn't even worth it.
I can't believe i may really walk away, like the Dokken song.

I’ve had a “diabolical” thought: SDS may be preparing us for the “spend money and advance along the Inning XP Path “. It’s what Madden does….
