It feels like diamond dynasty is dying

Huh? Oh yeah, you’re that keyboard warrior that thinks looking at profiles tells you everything you need to know. I play plenty online, going all the way back to 2017. Yes, I still crush Hader fairly easily, especially with everyone thinking he’s a glitch. Niekro? Not sure since he hasn’t been in the game for a while but was fairly easy to hit since a lot of people thought he was a glitch too and didn’t know how to use him.
Keep thinking you know all, it’ll continue to smooth out that brain of yours.

Thank the Maker, someone put Ol' Yeller out of its misery and pull the plug already.
Reboot next year with a brand new idea.
First order of business is a name that grabs your attention.
How 'bout ''Ball Busters''. -
This game is bad.

@AstrosJake_PSN I've pulled the plug on Diamond Dynasty as of today. I'm quitting it cold turkey. I am moving to just Road to the Show and classic MLB seasons modes. The great thing about no longer being interested in Diamond Dynasty is I won't have to purchase the new games each year anymore. Cheaters and bots have made DD a no play.

@TripleH-4481_PSN I was hesitant on getting this years game after playing the previous 6 years. I ended up caving just due to boredom during the time this game drops in March.
These threads have been popping up lately, I felt the same way for a couple weeks.
This is the first year I’ve lost interest and stopped playing as early as April.
Mid April I got burnt out playing mini seasons over and over.
Weekend Classic was mostly the final straw. I was placed in the wrong division and started my leaderboard with a negative score.
My final straw was the Miggy Collection and how pointless the endless grind for collections is.
Last years game was fun because it had new modes:
- DQ was a blast to grind and fun way to achieve collections.
- collection rewards (Roger, Beltran) and new legends (manny, Ted) were fire
- weekend classic brought good rewards to ranked.
This year:
- DQ has been castrated
- collection rewards are MID at best, and a waste of stubs at worst.
- weekend classic is still broken and unplayable with this years pitching.
The show ‘26 has 0 redeemable qualities. The only slight positive is parallels mods but even those can’t fix the gameplay.
What they did to DQ should be a punishable crime(hyperbole) but still… I’ve found very little reason to play this year. And that is a first for me tbh
-
@GodShammGod2_XBL they’ve truly stripped the game down to 2 main options:
Mini seasons over and over to get packs and play pack slot machine.
Or 2) go online and deal with lag, random gameplay, cheaters, disconnects or all of the above.
I’m choosing door #3 which is staying off the game. It’s wasted enough of my time. Sadly.
-
.buy packs if you're bored...never know might hit a big one
This is precisely what EA got in legal trouble over a few years ago, I think (please correct me if I'm wrong).
They are doing this as inning missions intentionally, so people can’t save xp.
Unfortunately, you're right.
I can understand miniseasons to a lesser extent since teams have to be made.
Those teams are randomly generated from people's actual DD teams, aren't they?

@SavageSteve74_PSN When it says “No ranked games played” and the guy is constantly talking about how he crushes a pitcher online at HOF which no event has ever played at then yes, it tells you everything you need to know. You LARP being a competitive player. It’s pathetic. Then you double down and lie. Even more pathetic. 3 year bans going out for the cheaters we don’t face that don’t exists. We are all just imagining it like you crushing Hader and Neikro…online….against a real player lmfao.

@DeleteyourTTVBTW_MLBTS It can show improper records sometimes when you look at other people’s profiles.

Record shouldn’t matter whatsoever unless there’s reward to be gained for it.
Go to Batting Average and ERA for any player and THAT is the indicator of talent/skill/etc
Wins and losses can be accrued by fake quitting or rage quitting or connection loss etc
Batting averages show what the person is and isn’t capable of
-
@JenkinMeyer_PSN this is 100 percent correct. My record is ok. Up to 17 and 11 now. But that doesnt tell the entire story. Ive been a victim of rng this year and probably played a cheater or two as well looking back. I also focus on my batting averages more than wins. That is the number one indicator if im improving at the game or not. I think im up to batting 360 average now on ranked. Which doesnt seem good enough this year. As I havmt even made championship level yet.
-
So by same theory if you come across someone with say 0-55 and a batting average of 0.00 you could easily sus them out / eliminate them - that’s a bot
Or quickly search by their game history did they win 54-0 in a game one time and bat 0.100 the rest of the time?
I mean I’m not a rocket surgeon but I’m pretty sure SDS does have the technology and capability to find [censored] out if they’d look
-
@JenkinMeyer_PSN very easy for them to figure it out. I just saw a guy with a record of a 100 and 0! In the standings. Why arnt they looking at him? Get a team together to review these outlier players. No way that guy is not cheating!! 100 amd 0 is virtually impossible in this game. 20 times flawless also with 6 and 0 banner. Go look at the standings you'll find him. I just dont want to mention names on here. If I can see it why cant they?
-
Exactly. If you and I can do it - they can.
