Where’s the Roster Update?

We are now over a month into the game with zero big roster update. Does anyone know when we can expect one, if at all?

I think people have been saying the 7th (oops the 8th - I should have looked at the calendar ) for the first one. I think this has been the case for several years now where they let some time pass at the beginning of the season.

Isn't their normal cadence every 6 weeks? We just hit the 1-month mark yesterday from opening day. 6 weeks would take us to May 6th, but since the updates are on Fridays that would be May 8th.

Yeah! I'm sitting on my 22 LS Sal Stewart cards, waiting for them to go to 85.
Also, since Bobby Witt Jr. may never hit a HR again, waiting for him to go to an 85, too.

There used to be attribute updates every 2 weeks Ahhh the good old days.

yeah i noticed this too. i looked at the cubs roster and half the guys on there are on the IL and were placed there weeks ago. I remember when this game use to update the rosters every week or so. the quality of SDS has really fallen hard in the last 3 years. They've ruined the reputation they had of being an elite gaming studio.

The first big attribute update last year was May 2nd. This year it is May 8th but people are acting like it has been significantly delayed.
Then the regular updates after that are at 3 week intervals although there is a longer wait at the all star break as that is when they do their fielding updates. They attributes used to be every two weeks but I am not sure how many years ago they switched it.
I am kind of fine with 3 weeks. If it was every week it would just be too volatile. Oh, someone had a 5 game slump - Downgrade them. This starting pitcher only had 1 outing all week but it was a bad one. Downgrade him. Could you imagine how upset people would get if their favorite player was downgraded because they had 4 or 5 bad games in one week.
