Let’s talk about the inning XP track

This is by far the slowest progress i have had into my second year.
All last year I had it done in 10 days.
Innings one was 13 days.We're more than two weeks into innings two and i am barely half way to finishing despite grinding a ridiculous amount.

Unless they add some big xp chunks in some programs or extend double xp for a week, there’s no way I’ll get to 500k. I’ve played quite a bit and am sitting at 215k. Only got to 350k last inning. I’m an offline-only player. Over the years, I typically finished xp paths and got wheel spins. I know they are trying to force more people to play online, but they are also gonna push a huge chunk of people away from an unrewarding tedious game. It’s silly that I can play a cpu 9 inning game getting 30 hits and 20 runs and receive less than 3000 xp for the gameplay, sometimes way less.

To be fair, beating the snot out of the CPU in a 9 inning game really shouldn't feel super rewarding (but should be viable). But playing the game as intended should. If they are going to have low xp through gameplay than give repeatable xp elsewhere. Back in 23 mini seasons used to have repeatable xp for example.

Played 7 “NewThreads” mini season games last night during NFL draft. On Vet. Won all of them 1-0 ( with my God squad). Had to resort to the “get on base, steal 2nd and 3rd with Dave Roberts and hope for a sac fly “ offense.
After finishing, gained about a thousand stubs and just got the catcher in XP path who won’t replace a P3 Adley Ruschman. A couple of regular packs. No (zero) cards added to any Collection for the nights effort.
It is/was extremely discouraging. I got just as many stubs by flipping White Sox cards, which took 15 minutes of my time. SDS MUST do something about this (lack of) progress. I hammered them mercilessly on the survey about it.

Another huge issue with this lame inning track:
The end rewards are 92s. The event today is giving 92s. Shouldnt the inning cards be the best cards for the inning?

@Teak2112_MLBTS Agreed and again a lack of foresight. How do they not realize these guys could be obsolete by the time most people get them?

That has been the case and something I have been complaining about for several years now. The Inning bosses are often times outdated by the end of the inning.

Don't tell me it's 3, I thought it was one.ive already spent hours upon hours over inventories and spreadsheets agonizing over how to spend it, now it's undone and I have to go back and recalculate for 2 more?? (Frustrated growl)

@Dolenz_PSN they used to do this much better in older titles before all the best cards were behind collections. U used to be able to get cards just as good from innings 12-0 and ranked.

@AppleLemon560_MLBTS I've often questioned having a single show pack as a reward in the Path...let alone the third to last reward in the path itself.

Other than being Right Handed it will be interesting to see if today's Trout card with a RF secondary is actually better than Boss Babe Ruth.

@Dolenz_PSN trout is always a top swing for me so any trout will play good have heard they switched his swing this year hope it’s still good I haven’t used a trout yet this year. I’m probably taking Randy out of the boss pack over babe and I rarely use babe Ruth cards despite how good they are I find slow old timer swings don’t play for me with some acceptions.

That's where I'm at as well...there just isn't enough incentive right now.
I'm at 26K out of 500. I knew I was behind but did not realize it was by that much.

@JenkinMeyer_PSN Lol correct. I miss investing. I helped me kill time at work during meetings. I don't see me getting live series done until fall. Still 10-15 high diamonds away.

@GoozeFn_PSN ironically the XP reward path is the least rewarding of all of them. It’s supposed to be this big grand slam of unlockables, they’ve made the “new innings” the least hyped drops of all.
