Game continues to be trash

@JenkinMeyer_PSN yeah comeback energy feels forced into every game this year. Scoring the first run feels more like a curse this year.
I always wonder about that but I pitch terribly in the 9th, it’s in my own head. I think the game can’t take the blame in the 9th.
And opposing team just feeds on your anxiety and murders you. That’s baseball.
And that’s what makes the weekend Classic so cool
Play a hard 8 innings, then just unravel in front of your own face for those last 3 outs

Ive had awesome games too, but just way too much scoring on HOF. Last game 15-10. Scored more than 10 runs in every game except the one I loss by ten runs. That game I lost was to the better player for sure. I am 40-0 in the last two events. I honestly have only lost games to either better players or equal players. I have had some bad games but mostly on me.
Yes there are some frustrating parts like perfect-perfect HR fall balls and perfect pitching but cant hit the strikezone. But you arent getting some big upsets. Most of the time I find it is that some people are really bad at pitching and get mad when they get smacked with hits all over the field. Then they swing at pitches on the black for hard outs.

@virusts_PSN yeah I lost to one guy who was heads better then me this wc lost 10-0

I think it is time for RTTS after this. Just played someone that torched all my pitchers until I told him I was reporting and he magically stopped hitting. Played high level ball and can't even see the ball. Feels like pitchers are pitching from 30' and the ball appears the last 20. I've had many times where the game hasn't been fun and think I reached my edge. I don't even care about getting high in the ranks (actually don't have a chance in hell anyway). I can dot pitches all day and people hit them like I'm throwing slow pitch softball. I've dumbed down my internet as much as I can. Game actually plays better with bandwidth limiter at 10/10 but still is awful. Regular 900/900 is comical. Might even go back to golf. I don't have to worry about Timmy stealing McDonald's wifi down the street. Feel like I grinded mini seasons at least 50 times for absolutely nothing.

@virusts_PSN you are exactly the point some of us are making. Obviously you are really good at the game. Most of us are not. The game is not going to effect someone like you who can literally square the ball up everytime. It effects the rest of us who already struggle. Then when we square the ball up and get nothing it effects us even more. You get it? 40 and 0 in events is all I needed to hear to know you are a top 1 percent player. Of course the [censored] doesnt effect you.

Get out of here with your honest assessment, the rules specifically state that you must (female dog) about it being all the games fault, and heavily exaggerate what happened

Not even exaggerating, this is the worst MLB The Show of all time. Everything about this game is terrible or bugged. It should be criminal for them to charge any amount of money for this. SDS is washed, and should just sell the rights to a different developer. It’s the right thing to do.
-
This is the wost game I’ve ever played. I am honestly miserable playing this.
-
Some of yall just need to quit the game. Yall clearly ain’t happy playing no more
-
@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS SDS is a sinking ship. Time for them to hang it up and sell the rights. They are doing the MLB is disservice by making the game so bad, This game gets significantly worse each year.
-
On my 15th "You have been disconnected from The Show" BS when playing strictly single player mode games. It makes Grinding this year next to impossible.
-
@balsamicarrow88_xbl Most people want them to sell the rights to a company like EA and 2K, so they can supposedly bring back MVP Baseball and MLB 2K.
Unfortunately, with the state of these corporations, they'll most likely make the game for profit and never for the actual fans. First of all, 2K makes MyCareer feel like a P2W-like experience, with most animations locked behind VC or some having not been released yet. And EA, well, you get the gist.
Which i feel like maybe if Backyard Baseball gets the rights to use MLB players AND the rights to MLB teams, SDS will actually have to compete to make sure their crown over the baseball gaming industry is still there.

@Player99_MLBTS oh god not 2k or ea my pockets can’t handle

Valid point but if you can't do one of these things: get lucky with pack pulls, 10 win BR runs, flip or spend money what is the difference? Without these you are not getting the collections done for a very long time.
-EA/2K likely to have dedicated servers which would be a huge plus. -Would these companies have PCI shrinkage? Doubtful because it makes zero sense.
-Cheaters making there way into this game too heavily which didn't really happen before. EA would definitely have more resources to combat that.
-Talking about resources, I think EA would have many more and better legendsWould there be cards you just can't buy? Maybe but I have that now with SDS. Best cards are in collections you can't do for a VERY long time without those things and the best cards in the store are the chase packs which I can't remember ever pulling the chase card. I think the dedicated servers, legends and game play would be better benefits at this time. Years ago I wouldn't have said this but now I think differently.

2K: every card would have 125/99 across the board. They would possibly even make everyone a switch hitter because why not. Also live series collection would probably be the cheapest drop of the season. Ohtanis pack odds go from .008% to .000000000000000000000000000000000000000008%
EA: Stubs have no pack purchasing power, everything needs secondary currency. Menus that make launch day Show menus look snappy and easy to use. Even less focus on game improvements. Offline gameplay a complete waste of time.
Anyone who thinks either of these companies would make a product even half as good are delusional.
