Wasn't it similar last year where there weren't huge content drops during Weekend Classic? They did mention the Jackie Robinson program next week will be the most content they have ever dropped for that so there is stuff coming.

Content has not been bad this year. They had a ton of it and thus far it’s been enjoyable. Today was a very underwhelming drop. I hope they will add more TA’s but I’m not confident. Also where are the City Connect programs
I agree with this mostly, I thought Egg hunt having only 4 cards was underwhelming though.
But this drop is exactly like the innings last year. Innings are a terrible content structure when they are coupled with the Weekend Classic. Make Weekend Classic the last week of an inning, and drop big content to coincide with the battle pass. We have to wait for the content to be released to do the battle pass anyway...

I've never been less excited for an XP Reward Path and it's only innings two.
That's a worry.
Doesn't feel at all rewarding with so many single base packs as 'rewards' (enjoy the 60 stubs from dupes, lads) and less cards than in previous games.

Online content, offline content, quick content, long content. You couldn’t find any of it?
I don't count the XP program. I don't play online, so the only WC classic I'll play are some White Castle(WC) classic sliders 🤪
The Conquest map is about 6 games? I turned off the game after no pulls in 16 Standard packs, and 5 Ballin's as well. This after seeing one of my PSN friends pull LS Diamond after LS Diamond in my phone notifications.
What a kick in the nuts, so to speak.

How do you even do anything in this game? The moments are just not possible for me. Its like hit a HR with Keith Hernandez but against Randy Johnson on GOAT difficulty in a park with 500 ft fences

That's where I started gaming, offline. Way before online gaming in 1999, so I can still get my baseball fix. It's not boring to me. It's good enough for me.

Lol, offline can be boring, and online can be maddening. So, you switch between the two and stay fairly happy.

No I agree with this. Shouldn't have big drops during weekend classic. This is perfect.

I don't know what they think they're safeguarding against that they don't want people to be excited and get through the inning path quickly? So it's just single packs and packs of outdated cards from old programs?
There is nothing I am looking forward to on this inning path, and it really really feels like it was not like this in years past. 2 good fielding contact hitters & one boss at the very end? Come on. The inning path now just feels like a legacy thing that they want to get rid of, and have in because they have to include it.

Theyre gold WBC packs though. So you're probably gonna get someone who quick sells for 300 stubs...yeah, the "rewards" on inning path are awful. Don't even get deluxe packs

I’m 43 so same thing for me but I couldn’t play this game as much as I do if it was offline only. I would’ve played for a few months then off to another game

I mean, the rewards on the path are better than last year (well, other than forcing the boss on us that is obviously less desirable like they did with Yamamoto...although I think the Doerr card will be fine). I think people were just too happy sets were gone last year to scrutinize it too much.

I miss sets in regards to I was able to finish collections cause it accepted cards of any series now I don’t finish any collections minus live series
