Playing in the weekend classic should be optional, not forced. I wanted to play in weekend classic but not anytime soon. My diamond dynasty team is not good enough in my eyes. Yes, I'll still play a few games from there, but still you should have the option of just playing regular online ranked games or weekend classic. It should not be a forced choice. You should have the option as a customer. What game you want to play?

@jake93436_PSN What’s the downside? They don’t count towards your record. At worst, you don’t get any rewards. What’s the problem?

Explain how they don't connect to your record. When last year they went to your overall cumulative record for online gameplay. There's nothing that breaks down, specifically online seasons with weekend classic. Or is there somewhere that shows actual wins losses for each mode?

No the games did not count towards you win/loss record but it did count towards your rating. However it also did not move you up in difficulty even if you went from 799-800.

So you either told me that last year's game if you played the weekend classic, none of the game was go against your record and there's not a separate record from your online ranked. It's a cumulative stat. They all go ordered online games regardless weekend classic or regular game
