I am trying to give DQ a chance this year!

    A couple of questions:

1). What do you do with peanuts? I have over 3k of them but I don’t see how I can use them. The game says something about a “captain chest (??)” but again I’m not sure where to access it.

2). On the main screen, on the right, there is a percentage. Is that the percentage of board I’ve already “played” or is that my percentage chance of getting the “big reward”?

Speaking of rewards, DQ has to get rid of bronze and silver pack rewards. The minimum should be a regular MLB the show pack. I’m mean, c’mon!

I’m sure I’ll have more questions and comments, but this is a start. Thanks in advance for answering…..

    1. On each board, there's a square called 'Coach's Cart' or something equivalent. On that square, you can spend your peanuts to buy perks that can be used for the remaining challenges/stadiums on the board.

    2. The % on screen is the amount of board complete. Hovering over each stadium gives you the percentage of getting the reward(s).

@savefarris_psn ok, thanks. So for the “coaches cart”, you just have to “find that square” by moving around the board?

For my second question, I realize now that, for the level I play on (veteran), I’ll need to complete much, if not all, of the squares in order to get a high percentage chance at the premium reward. And that’s ok.

you will have to find the coaches square on the board. It will give you 3 perks to purchase with your peanuts. 1 at 500 peanuts, another at 1500, and the 3rd perk at 2500 peanuts. You can use them on the remaining challenges on the map. If you dont use all your peanuts. They will roll over to each DQ you attempt.. Also if you can only compete on Veteran. you will need to complete every square on the map to have a higher chance at the reward.. But be prepared to not get the reward even if you beat the stadium on Veteran. DQ does reward you for playing on Veteran or Rookie when harder ones come out. The first 3 available to play now...Yes you will get the reward most likely. But as they release new DQ's, they will get harder and a lot less rewarding on the lower levels. fyi.

By the way, the silver packs have just as good of a chance to pull a diamond as standard packs do. Last year, I pulled Judge twice from a DQ silver pack.

@datnickdogg351_psn thanks for the advice. I played the one where you get the eggs (I typically do that one) and had a 99% chance and got them!

I then played the next one where you get Broxton(?) as a reward. I had a 55% chance to get him and actually DID get that reward. I was pleasantly surprised.

If they get harder and the actual chance to get the high end rewards fade in Veteran, there will be a time where I just won’t play DQ any further. I guess that’s OK, but disappointing….

I guess since I play on veteran, I need to get in the habit of going thru every square. I don’t make a straight line to the stadium challenge, I kinda “stroll” towards it, mainly to avoid that “sweeper dude”.
I got caught by him just once. Never again!! I never knew a team of commons could hit and pitch like that! It was U-G-L-Y. Like 9-0 after the first inning.
