Trying to remain positive

Listen I'm trying to refrain from any big criticism for a couple weeks, but right now if anyone from SDS is reading this (doubtful). 26 is quickly becoming the exact opposite of what you said for hitting. I've seen MORE perfect perfect line outs while rewarding bad swings very quickly.

Both of these are going to be more prominent early in the year, especially the bloop hits on slow outfielders.
It seems it will be the same as last year though, for better or worse. So if you are hyper competitive prepare to be triggered every now and then, but the better team will still in a 9 inning game most of the time
I don't personally recall them ever saying that was changing, but its certainly possible. They certainly didnt fix things like mini seasons stats and fatigue even though they said otherwise.

When did they ever address hitting and or insinuate that it was going to be any different?

You're not gonna be getting hits every AB because we're not playing with juiced 95+ diamonds. Everyones contact/power ratings are down and your clutch is nonexistent on nearly every card right now. Perfect/Perfects are gonna find a glove more than the grass right now.

It’s the reactions and speed on guys letting the soft hits fall more. But yes the hard hit outs are crazy bad.
