This game plays like 18

I’ll probably get some backlash for this but it feels like it’s Home run or bust man, really the only difference is the pitch speeds. Currently rocking a batting average over .300 yet I yield a 7.07 era because I all I do is give up the long ball. Which is sad because I’ve always been a better pitcher than I have been a hitter. But my stats for this year will say otherwise lol.

Hitting homeruns to me feels like the only way you can score. It’s either that or you get gifted a couple of runs due to this games horrible fielding (which is then usually followed by another homerun).

Yup same here. Always took pride that i wasnt the best hitter but i could pitch well enough to hang with the good players who havent reached great out of my league level. Now? Rookies are beating me.

Game is a mess right now.

I feel you man, my hitting has always been good enough to get me to WS a few times, but my pitching is really my bread and butter. Now I’m struggling just to make it to the wild card lol. 5-3 this season and I’ve probably given up 30 runs in my past 3 games with 20 homeruns allowed lol.

So partially agree, games have become either a homerun or strikeout - but my era is under 1 and almost every game I play is low scoring especially on HOF. Power needs to be toned down(slightly) and the timing window needs to be fixed as it is way too inconsistent.
