@peelwonder_PSN sds is handling the market the same way madden and 2k and fifa.

I'm done with mlb the show after this year im just gonna stick to the offine game modes and never buy another game.

We currently have some of the best baseball players in decades so mlb the show 26 will last me atleast 10 years.

I made it to championship series several years consistently only made it to world series once because they fed up weekend classic and i played people i shouldn't have and i got over world series by 15 points ...it was fun competitively for several years, it scratched my competitive itch and re-fueled my love for baseball but ironically it also killed my love for baseball.

Sds is on its path to be like madden.

I wont buy anymore sports games.

When i get the itch to play a sports game I'll just play franchises or something.

I'm gonna invest my time in other games

Grungypunk_MLBTS you literally can’t make a game that caters to every single person. You will always want more. The collection shouldn’t be obtained in a month. There have always been gatekeepers regarding the love series collection. Not everyone single person who buys mlb the show should just be able to complete a collection like that in the first month. It should be a grind somewhat

All, I can say is that I am glad I play offline and go into the season with the mindset that I will not complete many, if any collections. I just try to earn the Cardinal cards I want to play with and anything beyond that is a bonus. Much less stressing out that way. I play when I feel like playing and don't when I don't.

I know that 99 Pujols is probably beyond my reach unless I pull Ohtani in a pack and even then it would still be iffy. I have made my peace with that.

@Grungypunk_MLBTS you're talking about a video games economy. If you want to work an economy go to Robinhood that's my point by saying that. Collections within the first month of the game with 3 99s and multiple high 90s doesn't make sense with the way the power creep is going this year. The amount of people trying to flip cards has exponentially increased since 2018-2022. Demand is higher than ever before and ohtani and judge are better than any LS card that was in 2018-2022. LS collection will play longer than any other year this year and everything is up rn bc WC is coming up. It's never been easier to earn packs play the game you'll get better earn more packs more rewards all of which can help you with LS collection. No major pulls and I'll have it done in a month and a half. You're living in the past things aren't what they used to be demand all time high rn.

@cusejuice315_PSN you are missing the point of what im saying. Jesus [censored] christ i hate this [censored] planet there is no way the human population is this [censored] stupid

    Nothing i have stated.

None of the evidence i have put forth

    Has literally nothing

    @cusejuice315_PSN.

If we are getting "more packs"

More people would be pulling more diamonds not less.

Thats not how probability [censored] works.

Sds has literally made golds silver and bronzes worthless.

They made this change in 2022/2023.

99.9% market value has went into 1 or 2 cards.

    Thats not normal.

    Thats not okay

That favors whales and Sds pockets.

    Thats artificially manipulating the market.

Back when trout was 500 k he wasnt worth more than the entire [censored] mlb league combined

Shoei and judge are worth more than the entire [censored] league combined

There is no supply and demand.

If golds silvers n bronze are worthless..

The value isnt based on actual supply and demand.

That are hard capped at a set value.

That doesn't favor the general public

Only sds n whales benefit from that.

Im not a selfish person id rather everyone eat before i eat.

Stop deep throating people blatantly robbing people.

I want the 20 card cap changed as much if not more than all y’all but it’s not gonna happen. SDS is trying to get whatever money they can from this game with the lockout looming. They already know next year isn’t gonna be a good so they are trying to get all the money possible this year, regardless of how the community feels. Yes they’ve made packs more attainable and I think the amount of content so far has been good, but there I’d heavily outweighed by the negatives

    • stub sites using more market bots than any past year
    • cheating bots on ranked that haven’t been countered so far
    • 20 card limit not being addressed at all (if you mention it in the live steam insta 30 min timeout)
    • accidentally restricting real people from the market well the bots run free still
Overall I think this has been the worst mlb I’ve played and hopefully they can save face and make some good changes before they fully ruin their reputation for being better than companies like EA

I don't have much to say in the conversation but I have to admit that your post formatting is extremely annoying. It is the polar opposite side of someone who just posts walls of text

@Grungypunk_MLBTS LS collection is over 2.25 million to complete judge and ohtani are a little over a million that's not 99.9% of the total market value. Ohtani is doing something that's never been done before in the history of the sport and is currently at what 28 scoreless IP as someone who has gone 50/50 before yeah his card is going to be more expensive than trouts ever was and there was never a second gate keepers on judges level when trout was top dog. You're main point throughout this entire thing has been whining and complaining about not being able to complete LS collection in a couple weeks like you used to be able to. No body feels bad for you not being able to complete it within a couple weeks. Users playing the game at all time high plus number of people working the market at an all time high plus 2 players doing things that the sport has never seen before or rarely ever seen = all time high prices. You wanna complain bc they made it harder for you to make stubs by flipping with the card cap. Play the game you'll get better earn more stubs more packs all of which can be put towards collections

I think it's creeping up again. I show 2.7 million on the "Sell-Now" price as of 1 EST 4/6/2026.

Judge and Ohtani are almost 1.15 million, so... 42.6% of the total.

The next highest 12 LS diamonds are at 1.12 million - another 41.5% of the total.

I could just keep listing random numbers, but I'll stop there...
