Secondary Position in RTTS The Show 26

In the Feature Premiere 3 weeks ago, the developer was answering fans' questions. One question asked, "Can I select a secondary position from the start?" The dev answered plainly: "Yes."
Does it mean we can finally choose a secondary position as a position player, or is it just the same as the previous, only allowing two-way players to have a secondary position?

I haven’t found it, I’ve been asking for this for years. That said, I only looked at the create character screen in not sure if the option shows up later. I’m currently playing SP/2nd base.

@makionodera_mlbts Hers an update. I created a new 3rd baseman, completed first 2 hs games and STILL no secondary position. I asked the devs thus on the live stream and they said it was available from the start. Flat out lied.its the only reason I bought it this year because I mistakenly thought they actually listened to us. Fool me once

@Tandil1368_XBL 1000% agree! I was the one spamming the chat on the Twitch Stream for RTTS asking this very question. At minimum they lied about a secondary being available from the beginning. At maximum it is possible that it’s not even in the game. I have gone through 3 months in the minors with the only option being to change my primary position. The position will change, but it won’t keep the previous position as a secondary. So I still have ZERO secondary position.
Absolutely UNREAL lie by the development team. We can’t even get a refund because of Sony’s policy.

@andyfrom93_psn @tandil1368_xbl Thats actually horrible that the team members are just flat out lying about secondary positions, or they just didn't understand the question to your exact point just saying cuz I didn't see it happen since normally I am not on Twitch.
