No. You're still gonna have to go through the tutorial while it loads day 1 updates.

I don't think they have done that for several years if you are talking about the game unlocking and the only thing you had access to was an exhibition game between the WS teams from the previous year.
Although someone said the switch pre-load was really small so who knows.

I believe its only if the game hasn’t fully downloaded/installed yet

If I remember correctly I think the pre download is only to open the game u will still have to wait for the instal after game releases

The game will be fully downloaded in the pre-download. At launch, they'll send out an update (say version 1.001) that will unlock the game for playing.
