@Onix_Savage22_PSN Not necessarily. Chipper was a great collection reward because he checked other boxes. You just can’t have the most expensive card in the game be a corner position, slow, not a switch hitter and frankly disappointing hitting stats. Babe was a corner player, slowish, not a returning legend, but he was a 2 way play with maxed out hitting.

@MarioMendoza935_XBL yeah I do agree and Personally I would be excited about Pujols but Beltrán was also a switch hitting center fielder with max defence and ability to steal bases there will definitely be part of the community that is upset but there’s also people that just complain about everything lol
As a Cardinals fan and a Pujols fan there is not a bigger name that they have shown as a legend. That said I can understand why people would be disappointed in him as a MLB Live Series reward
Pujols had a .296 career AVG compared to Beltran's .279 but Beltran's card last year had more contact than this year's Pujols.
Pujols had 703 career HRs and an ISO of .248
Beltran had 435 HRs and an ISO of .207
But Pujols has only a sliver of advantage when you compare the cardsPujols had a Career BA with RISP of .312
Beltran had a Career BA with RISP .293
But Beltran had a better Clutch rating (114 to 111)Then when you add in Beltran's advantage in speed and fielding then the Pujols card does not add up.

@Dolenz_PSN Even if Pujols had close to maxed hitting, it would be slightly disappointing as the MLB reward. This card is definitely not worthy.

@Dolenz_PSN yes it’s not even a debate Pujols in real life was the better player and they definitely did him dirty in his power stats as a 700 homerun club member

@GoozeFn_PSN I feel like with maxed out hitting and if it’s his same sweet swing he had in years past I would be much more excited and it would push this card potentially in to must have territory for me

@Dolenz_PSN Well, your Cardinal bias is showing. I might feel differently if a player from my favorite team ever gets a significant early collection reward.

@GoozeFn_PSN by far would be worst case scenario for me I usally don’t get my first league done till about late may early June I would be going extremely hard on diamond quest/mini seasons and working the market to get that card as fast as possible if he’s al reward

LOL - I like the idea of Pujols as the overall reward. That said... I ALWAYS struggle with his cards. I'm not sure what it is. I won't get him until late May/early June at the earliest, so it's not a huge deal for me.
Anyway - who cares? I'm more excited to fire up the new MLB26 API's

I'm a little scared. The attribute changes play havoc with almost everything in my program from screen layouts to card evaluations based on Meta scores that will need new formulas.
As for Pujols, in the end it probably won't matter to me as I probably won't get him if he is a collection reward.
