I understand why they took out RTTS players from competitive online DD, but why can't it be allowed for those characters in casual games vs friends? I am not a competitive player, and only play with personal friends. Currently, without this feature being reintroduced, we will most likely move on to another game. Is it possible to bring back RTTS players in DD and casual play, but exclude from competitive play?

That's an outstanding point and one that has been raised with SDS time and time again, falling on deaf ears. SDS operates on the basis that what caters to DD play is the driver of the game's evolution. Currently, there are only two modes that allow customized players -- Franchise and RTTS. There is no reasonable argument to be made why they should not be allowed in private league play online, or in Exhibition games.

Just want to chime in that adding RTTS players into DD is what eventually ruined RTTS. The archetypes, load outs, capping ratings and deciding how you can develop your player is what turned a lot of people off with that mode. It finally became decent again in 25.

Quite frankly, ruining RTTS for casual players to play with their friends with their CAPs doesn’t sound like something they would do or have any incentive to do.

Not being able to use a CAP in a casual game, where stats dont matter, is whats gonna cause you to quit the game for good? Seriously?

@genopolanco_PSN There’s no reason CAP’s in their current form shouldn’t be in DD.

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN No, it is not a reason to quit a game for good. I am not saying we are going to deliberately boycott MLB the Show 26 because RTTS characters are not in DD. However, we are playing multiple other co-op games right now that take up our time. There is just no incentive to rush out and get The Show 26 if it lacks a feature that we used to love. We will just stick to our current games. It is a question of priorities and the enjoyment we get out of games.

@GoozeFn_PSN I don’t care. DD isn’t fun for me anymore. I just don’t want them to ruin RTTS because of it.
