Pitches on the black

I’m sure this has already been raised before, but I was late to the game this year. Anyway, way too many pitches on the black are called balls in H2H modes. I understand the desire to have umpires make mistakes for the sake of authenticity, but considering no pitches completely off the black are ever called strikes, its is too advantageous for the hitter.
Love the game, though.
