Congratulations to Jeff Kent, the Newest MLB Hall of Famer
-
If he’s not in the game next year, there will be bloodshed.

I'd still take Lou Whitaker over Kent, just sayin'

Thoughts on Murph and Mattingly getting kept out?
I get the appeal of both personally but I think Dale Murphy's numbers over a longer period of time and the consistency for a good 10 or so years of it should get him in. He also had some speed for a bit.
Mattingly just misses if it were up to me. It's sad, because he really was good for a few years, but there just isn't enough there in my opinion. He had like 6 really good years and a few more average ones.
And before anyone brings up War or any of that, I know they're similar there. I'm not a huge fan of the new age stats and don't think that should be a critical aspect of who gets in and doesn't. It can help, but shouldn't be the only "gotcha" for an argument -
It's not a Hall of Fame without Bonds and Clemens. I know their chances are slim, but they should be there.

I'm sorry dude, but if we let them in, we'd be a joke as a sport. They ruined the integrity of the sport. They are not Hall of Famers. They didn't need to juice yet they didn't anyway and hilariously got caught. -
@TheBigPapa55_PSN Big Papi is in.

@beatlesnews_MLBTS
Didn't get caught though. Just because he's big doesn't necessarily mean he juiced. -
@beatlesnews_MLBTS
He only juiced very early in his career, before he was good
