The position where you need the most cards of course has the fewest.

I feel like they should give every team the Herget treatment: everyone gets a finest for their best non closer reliever.

Actually CP did not even make the top 10. It has the fewest with only 13. Only 10 teams have a 99 OVR closer.

Agreed. Too many teams are very lacking in the bullpen especially in the middle relief department.

This is the part where I once again ask for a diamond Tim Hill.

As an example, they Rays have gotten i believe 3 bullpen cards all year.

I understand not wanting to pay for non closing legends, this is where they can lean in to the current roster.

    Some examples for the Rays:

Garrett Cleavinger has a 2.35 era and a 1.9 WAR
Edwin Uceta has a not atrocious 3.70 ERA and 10 wins in 70 games
Fairbanks, who has a summer card, was fine as a closer
Kevin kelly in 2024 had an era under 3 in 68 games
Colin Poche 2 years ago (who is still in the league, barely) had a 2.23 era and 12 wins out of the bullpen
Brooks raley's breakout year was in 2022 for the Rays
And Jason Adam has had numerous strong seasons

Now a lot of these would of course be filler cards they would need to figure out how to work in. That team specific TA track would have been a great place for this.

I think more focus should be put on acquiring more legend relievers and giving each team at least 1-2 good options in the bullpen.

99s for RP/CP don’t matter. I am still rocking non 99s on my Ranked and Weekend classic teams
