Colin Rea (35 - SP) Signed 1 year - 6.5 million dollar extension with Cubs
Maikel Garcia (25 - 3B) Signed 5 year - 57.5 million dollar extension with Royals
Tyler Soderstrom (24 - LF) Signed 7 year - 86 million dollar extension with Athletics
Jose Ramirez (33 - 3B) Signed 4 year - 106 million dollar extension with Guardians -

Love this for Cleveland fans. As a former Oakland A fan I'm super jealous of a team making sure they work something out and keep a star long term.

Here are the full details for the J-Ram extension because it's a bit extensive (no pun intended): first of all, the remaining 3 years and 69 million on his current extension have been restructered, as he will now only get paid 45 million over 2026-2028 in addition to the new 106 million he will paid over the 2029-2032 seasons. All-in-all, he'll get paid 25 million per year over the next 7 seasons with 10 million annually deferred.
