In their defense the Finals are not until tomorrow and Saturday. The last semifinal was just last Saturday so if they tier the cards based on results then I can understand why they waited.
Also looking at 2022 they ended up giving Adrian Gonzalez 3 cards for the event (95, 98, 99) so maybe they waited until the end this time to avoid that scenario again.
Also, looking at Gonzalez, he did not get a card in any other year or series so expect these to be the only cards for these players not already in the game.
Yeah, when they first introduced the HRDX cards in 2022 that was the only series those players got cards for which was fine although the multiple high 90s diamonds did seem a little redundant.
I will admit if I was a Cardinals fan like yourself, I'd be annoyed if Wainwright is only a hitter and doesn't have pitching attributes. Hopefully, they make him a two-way player so people can utilize him in his primary position. It would be like if they dropped CC Sabathia as a new Legend last year, but only giving him the Out of Position card that can only hit.
Excited to try out a bunch of these new names though for sure. I remember Swisher and Adrian Gonzalez having awesome swings and some of these players haven't been in the game for a long time.

I expect him to be only a hitter and I was a little disappointed when I realized that but I'll take what I can get and if they give him pitching stats I will be pleasantly surprised.

It was teased last Friday and then said about in the live stream that it was coming but it's nice that they're adding new legends

We dont need yet another set of power heavy cards though, so hopefully since they just did moonshot these are more balanced. But the card I want most is Murphy, who was [censored] defensively anyway
