Calm down my man, it’s an easy fix and could be worth millions to you. Go to each player and work out a contract that gives you the rights to use their likeness and then sell all of those contracts to SDS. You’d be a millionaire in no time!!!
Seriously though, this has been discussed hundred of times. Face scans require each player to sign off on and many may not do it for $0. Most of the newer players have NIL contracts from college and may not be able to end those quite yet or possibly have a conflict with another company using the likeness. It’s not as simple as just scanning faces.
Don’t buy into the false notion that it’s included in the MLBPA agreement, it’s not and considered completely separate from anything under that blanket contract. Players want to be paid and can leverage their likeness for more money than SDS can afford.
