Adding the Negro Leagues stories and players has been the best part of the last three years!
-
Being someone who invests the majority of his time in the history of the game and adores the legends used in the game, this has been great for educating fans of the game of baseball about a part of its history of which many don't know much about yet.
When I heard Harold Baines talk about how he played his entire career to honor his father, doing so because his father was "born too early" to play in MLB, that always moves me. He's my favorite player of all time, and I greatly appreciate that you've kept him as a Legend since 2021, and previously in 2018. You've even kept both of his batting stances in the animations!
I was hoping that future installments could discuss the people who created the connective tissue to bring all men together to play the greatest sport alive.
I've kept quiet about my desire to see George Sisler in the game, for years, but I will continue to request him. He was a gentleman, well liked by Babe Ruth and envied by Ty Cobb. When Gorgeous George retired, he furthered his relationship with Branch Rickey by scouting Jackie Robinson.
Everyone who plays The Show should have access to players from ALL generations, from the Honus Wagners to the George Sislers, the Satchel Paiges to the [censored] Allens, the Andres Galarragas of the world, and beyond.
I think you all produce a BEAUTIFUL game every year, and I'm not here to suck up!
I want to share my thoughts and my wishes, sincerely, because the depth in this game is incredibly difficult to achieve, and I wish more folks would appreciate the product that we have access to, yearly.
Thanks for MLB Pennant Race to 989 Sports to MLB The Show, and seriously consider my thoughts!
Best,

I agree. I wish there was more incentive to use these cards. Sometimes I feel I have to use something else to work towards a program though.

I've said it a million times.
I'll say it a million and one.
Storylines is the perfect vehicle to introduce Curt Flood. -
Save Farris! I haven't seen that name in a while.
So let's add Curt Flood to the list! He's got a great story.
The only two guys I continually push for keeping in the game and/or adding are George and Harold, and I also want to see others get to see their favorites included.
