Are Harrison Bader and Tyler ONeil suffering from leg injuries? I just don’t understand how they go from two of the fastest men in baseball, to average in just two years.

According to statcast Bader is 128th in the league in sprint speed, or technically tied with 13 others for 117th

I forget when they said this,maybe 2 or 3 years ago now, the fielding attributes,speed and base running attributes are based off of statcast data, they get that data in the off-season to do the launch rosters and they get the data again around the all star break, and will have a speed/fielding update.
The fielding data is based off advanced statcast metrics(a few different ones,they weren't specific) and the other were based off sprint speed data.
Acuna is another big nerfed speedster,but the only recent data they have for him is when he was bothered by his knee before the tear and after when he was still taking it easy on it, think in his case it will probably be next year before he gets close to accurate because I don't think he's back to going all out yet. Took yelich 1 1/2 -2 years to get back after his knee injury. -
