Why does the game let the opponent hit very early home runs?

I just quit a weekend classics game because my opponent hit a very early outside ball out the park and managed to pull the ball 431 ft.
It just doesnt make sense

Well, I guess you showed him! Definitely by quitting early you showed him not to hit those "very early outside ball out the park"! I am sure he regrets his mistake and won't do it again.

I really love how it is always "the opponent" but I should remember that most here always swing perfectly timed swings with perfect placement, which means that they have never been the beneficiary of that type of luck.
