Card Reveals for Friday June 6th (4th Inning and Spotlight)

Defend the A's then - Crappy team but with 6+ cards in TN/Spotlight AND they're near the top of overall amount of Flashbacks/Legends.
There may be other teams like this too, but the A's were glaring.
Edit - And I just counted again and we've gotten 117 Topps Now and Spotlight (including the new ones revealed today).
I don't care what team it is, 0 for 117 is just not right. It seems intentional at this point.

It's definitely a game and 'meta' balance decision as much as it is rewarding players for big moments or performance. They also know what's on their roadmap for program rewards and use Topps Now to help boost teams who likely won't get any. Teams like the Blue Jays weren't getting Topps Now cards (I think they have just the 1 Nate Pearson affinity card until this upcoming drop with Clement). They knew the Jays were getting some love in the Moonshot & Pipeline Past programs.

I understand that. However, the topps now series and the spotlight series are different. They highlight some of the lesser-known or young players. Sure, the Red Sox have plenty of stars but I just want to see them get one card of a lesser known name. They have plenty of options. Here are three:
- Carlos Narvaez - 2nd among AL catchers in WAR (only behind Raleigh obviously)
- Wilyer Abreu - has deserved a card better than live series the last 2 years.
- Cedanne Rafaela - shortest walkoff HR ever, I think.
-
Rafeala wouldnt be in the pool for this week, he could very well get one next week
Narvaez is interesting, yeah he would be a good May spotlight. Great month, 100% unsustainable (.480 babip) and who knows if he will ever get a card opportunity again
Abreu is like David Peterson, wtf is SDS waiting for.

@dbub_PSN I don’t disagree but I think they’re just afraid of releasing any more Red Sox than they have to lol. The Topps Now cards aren’t even that great so I don’t see the harm.
A large portion of the player base doesn't need a card to be 'great', Topps Now cards are always more than good enough for offline/events/sub WS ranked, especially if in a theme team
-
Well, first of all you can take Topps Now cards out of your calculations. We have been over that. In some thread I actually listed every single card and explained why.
Here are the actual Topps now cards the Red Sox have actually gotten to this year
Two of the players you mentioned have appeared on one Topps Now Card, but unfortunately they were on a dual card together and it was for a defensive moment.
Teak, says Narvaez may be in line for a spotlight. I don't know much about how he has been playing but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Red Sox have the 4th most legends and flashbacks in the game as of yesterday. How would you feel if a Yankee, Dodger or Cub fan started complaining that they didn't get a card in some series or another. That's how fans of other teams probably feel about you complaining about this.
Also, your team has 6 cards rated 90 or above. That is more cards in that range than 19 other teams have.
Stop acting like the Red Sox have been treated as poorly as the Rockies all season.

Thanks, I find it strange they let the MLB announce that ahead of their Stream or Announcement.
-
Well thats an odd choice, they havent done a pitcher in a few years, right?
Should have swapped with Wood
-
Not a fan of those jerseys. Don’t know why I think it’s the stripe down the front where the buttons are.
-
Waited until noon my time to see if SDS would post a new reveal and they just reposted Skubal.
Off to play some Roadcraft until the stream.
-
WANT THIS SKUBAL and the Cameron
-
Last reveal before the stream
The Cornerstone cards
-
I know there are issues with the content, but love how they've been consistent with the Evolution programs. Have always enjoyed those.
-
Retro lightning is 94 Bryce Harper
-
The James Wood attributes look solid. That's going to be a good card.
