Live series vs Rolen collection

Hi all! Doing NMS and it seems live series prices are inflated this year due to pack odds. Should I start focusing on the Rolen collection as I don't have 2 mill in stubs for live series. Any tips to play the market?

They are not inflated this year due to pack odds. As far as I know the pack odds are the same as previous years.
The problem is, unlike last year, is that we are not being inundated with 99 overall cards. There are only 3 99 overall batters in the game right now. Players know that there are some who want to get them all so they can sell the rarer required cards for a premium.
Lets look at Ohtani. In the last 35 minutes there have been 14 Ohtani cards sold, all for over 600K. As long as people are willing to pay that price and there are consistent sales being made at that price he won't get any cheaper.

This year is all about investments for roster updates. I've been able to get Rolen and could finish the live series collection now if I wanted to all NMS and through just playing the game and roster investments. So my suggestion would be to try and use some stubs for that.

I would love to have Rolen but I’m personally focusing on LS since some of those cards you need for Rolen anyway. All I’d need is Othani. Whenever that happens.

There are three 99s in live series collection. I personally don’t have a lot of success with Gil, but many do. Roger is a stud at this point in the game and Beltran is a great card. Not sure you get the same bang for your buck with Rolen. And I know this is purely personal, but I can’t hit for anything with Rolen. YMMV.

Go for live series first guys … the ls-collection helps with getting Rolen

Rolen has a funky stance and stride. I can’t hit with him so I use Jose Ramirez instead. I focused on live series first but I got it done before the price jump

best tip imo: Play the game and do not invest your time here crying about pack luck

Do live series first as tons of those cards will go towards rolen. Skip all star probably

Live Series because you're getting 3 99's instead of one plus all the live series cards that will go up.
