SDS Should Add This (But they never will)

I know this is a 2K thing, but man would I love to see something like MyNBA Eras in MLB The Show. It'd cost a lot, especially to get almost every single players' likeness from that era, but I came up with a few ideas for eras in the game. Maybe SDS could somehow convince whoever they need to to create a MLBPA association for all retired players, but I doubt they'd ever be aggressive for anything close to that. What's the benefit for the players joining this MLBPA for retired players association?
Why would Ken Griffey agree to be paid the same for his rights as, say, David Freese?
By the way, I think SDS could probably include all of baseball history, just like Out Of The Park Baseball does as long as they don't use the player likenesses. But considering how upset people get when current players have generic faces I can't see many loving the idea of random, generic faces on every past legend player. Nobody would want an Albert Pujols, Buster Posey, Ichiro, etc that did not resemble the actual player

He would obviously either ask for more money or not join the union at all or be content with what he's getting. Like I said, it would most likely never happen, but it would be cool and would probably earn SDS a lot more income.
