Let’s get ahead of this now.
You’re going to have to find an egg in a showdown.
I repeat, you’re going to have to play showdown to find an egg.
So we’re in for at least another week of people complaining they had to play showdown to complete a program.
SDS you have the opportunity to do something really funny and make us play a showdown multiple times to get an egg that’s required to finish the program. And I hope the final boss is either Randy or Donaldson with common lefty batters on GOAT.

I know the new Egg Hunt program will be different, but here are the Egg Hunt missions for MLB The Show 24.
Egg 1 - Complete the Egg Hunt Moments
Egg 2 - Complete the Starter Showdown
Egg 3 - Steal a Base in Ranked
Egg 4 - Defeat STL, BAL or TOR in a 9-inning game
Egg 5 - Get 1 Hit with Wade Boggs in BR
Egg 6 - Exchange 15 Jelly Beans
Egg 7 - Hit 1 Triple
Egg 8 - Hit 2 Doubles in Event
Egg 9 - Win 1 Classic Mini Season game on All-Star
Egg 10 - Defeat BAL first in Egg Hunt Conquest -

For all the people who despise DQ, just a warning because you know they're locking an egg somewhere within that mode this year.

Also there's 2 eggs in a new diamond quest. Reward cards are 89 Rickey Henderson and 89 Lucas Erceg.

Hey as long as they give you the egg when you complete the DQ then people will be fine it'll be when they don't give you the egg that'll when people have the problem

My worry is I don't play online nor do I even have xbox live anymore so I'll never finish the whole program and my OCD can't handle the trauma of not seeing the completed in the corner

@CDNMoneyMaker93_XBL I hear ya. Hopefully there will be enough missions this year so that players who don't pay for online play can actually still complete the Egg Hunt. But I wouldnt count on it. Yelich was only card I did not get last year too.

@dmc04005_PSN this doesn’t seem to actually be the case. So far Red & Yellow seem to come from Conquest, Green & Blue from Diamond Quest Purple from Moments Orange & Pink possibly tied to multi player.

Yup, just play the moments, the conquest map, Diamond Quest, and unlock the mystery missions.

Honest to God, I'm getting ready to just. Quit playing. If this is the game that SDS is giving us, the only way to win is not to play.

There is no egg in showdown. 2 eggs in the Diamond Quest, 2 in the conquest and one for doing the moments.
