Headfirst slide into 1B almost every-time

I use the analog stride swing abd play on PS5 and everytime there is a play at 1B my players slide in headfirst. It doesn't even need to be a close play its anytime a runner is thrown out at first. It really takes away from the game and is very annoying. Can this be corrected in an update and are others experiencing this?

Nope it's a glitch because I tried 24 again and no slides into first and I used a brand new controller for 25 abd player keeps sliding. So it's a bug in the system

Does it on PS, slides into all bags unnecessarily, but diving into first on every play is egregious.

I saw that this issue was tied to analog hitting so I switched to button hitting, and I played one game and had no base running issues.
