Any team. The real question is this: what team is it the easiest to get on base against. That answer is easy. The White Sox. Always.

Best starting pitcher ERA in baseball. Fewest runs allowed in baseball.

    Shaboom!

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN i saw someone mentioning the holding r2 trick, maybe thats the key. I just know that if I even lead a hair, the pitcher immediately throws to the bag. Usually it doesnt work the first time. But if you try even a small lead again, he throws right back and 9/10 times its an easy out. (Which is ridiculous with such a small lead, the baserunner should ALMOST always have plenty of time to get back.)

And if i try to wait a sec for him to be "focusing on the plate"/ready to start his delivery its too late to get ANY lead. Is the leadoff not neccesary at all? So weird. Lol

For the Cardinals it was pretty easy. I just put Victor Scott II on my bench and use him as a pinch runner in almost every game. He already has 3 stolen bases this year so I hope he keeps it up and they bump his steal rating as well.

I wouldn't bother with the leadoff as long as you're using a speed guy. If you're attempting to steal with a guy who's got a 70-72 speed/steal rating, sure it can help....if he's low to mid 90s, doesn't matter

the team or catcher doesn't matter. the key to stealing with anyone with above 73 speed and not get caught 98% of the time is this. From 1B hold R2 then L1 to take a lead. Hold R2 the whole time. When the pitcher glances over or moves his head down. Hit L2 to trigger the steal.
After you hit L2, release R2 the pitcher will pitch the ball and the runner will steal and you will be safe almost everytime. Same process on second to steal 3rd as well.. I have done this since show 20. It works a lot and I have all 3 TA steal missions done by all teams so far this season, and about a dozen of 15 steals per team as well. Try this out and you will see progress and more steals against the cpu.. don't try it online though..

@SquishySoldier_MLBTS I hit L2 to preload the steal. Hold L1 and then release L1 as soon as the pitcher picks up his leg. I never take an extended lead on first. I do on second since it's easier to see the cover behind you.

You said the easiest team to get on base against is my poor, laughingstock white Sox. But they have the best pitching numbers in baseball through the first weekend!

@SchnauzerFace_MLBTS oooh I see. Yeah, sorry for calling them out! To be fair, in the game, they actually are a laughing stock. I hope for your sake, they continue to excel, and the next roster update gives them
    Some rating boosts!

For my sake, I hope they never change… 😂

lol thank you, but they probably all have the ratings they deserve. It’s a weird quirk of the long season. I don’t expect them to be anywhere near the top of anything for long!
