What did I do since my last update:
- I still sticked to my strategy, so no flips (man, there are that many opportunities (another flash sale where I could have made tons of stubs :))
- When Rolen came out, I knew I had no chance getting him, since my focus was on the live series collection (which is still the better route imo). So I sold a lot of cards that I could buy later (sold all of my egg cards)
- Together with the new conquest and new mini season, I made tons of xp and I am sitting on 100 packs … which gave me the last inning-pack (sold Gibson right on the spot)
- That in total gave me 240K stubs so I bought back Judge which gave me a big bullpen piece with Darren O‘Day
- So, Bobby Witt is the last one standing. Maybe I get lucky with the above mentioned packs. Anyway I am pretty sure, that I will get him after the next weekend-classics (at the latest)
Little update: Today I ripped all of my packs. I pulled Dansby twice from the egg packs … I pulled 8 diamonds from the „normal“/Twitch-packs … unfortunately it was 1x Gunnar, 2x Altuves, 1x Acuna, 1x Merrill, 1x Snell, 1x Semien, 1x Gilbert … I will not complain because all those cards netted me 120K, so I am only prox 60K away from finishing live series.
The fun part: I could easily have it done tomorrow, but I will use the cards that I have. So instead of having Beltran patrolling CF it will be egg-PCA

First milestone completed … thanks to drop 3 I managed to get the last stubs necessary to complete live series collection.
Remember: I did not flip a single card and I did not buy anystubs
What helped the most: People do nit know how much value TA gives. Yes, I did some Diamond Quests (maybe 12-15 runs), but I pulled a lot through many hundred of packs I earned on my way. I also cleaned up my binder very thoroughly
Now I will focus on getting my team better (I do not know how :)), getting Rolen and doing better in the next weekend classics

Congrats! I really need to go through and sell my dupes. Probably so many stubs to be had. The only reason I am hesitant is because I do like to do TA exchanges when new TAs drop later in the year to knock those out quicker.

Not yet, I have 13 of the vouchers so far and I think there are at least 2 others that I could complete now if I wanted to, but I am just going to wait for some more cards to be released rather then locking in more expensive cards since I wouldn't be done yet anyway. My guess is I'll have Rolen in the next couple weeks.
EDIT: I just realized you weren't asking me...haha sorry.

Same here. No flipping. I rip only packs I get for playing the game. I lock in LS as I pull them, sell any dupes. I also sell most program cards I earn from those free packs or completing Diamond Quest. Basically you will pull every LS card at some point in the yearly game cycle of 6-9 months just from free packs. Now when you get those gate keepers could be early or late but keep playing and you will pull them. I did buy JRam and Soto shortly after release when I got enough stubs just because I wanted to use him from the get go. I have pulled Trout, Marte, Harper, and the other diamonds that go for more than QS. Currently missing 3 cards, Ohtani, Judge and Witt and my LS is finished, again just by playing the game. Now I am off a bit from Rolen but I really have not played much multiplayer yet and that is where the big reward are. But needless to say, if you are patient and not obsessed about your stub count or completing each collection the same day it drops you dont have to spend a dime and it does become more enjoyable.

exactly … I enjoy the game much much more this way. I uses Gold Santander for the whole 1st inning and P5ed him also.

I have 7 vouchers and I am sitting on 120K stubs, waiting for the next market crash to buy cards for the collection (Diamond Santander has to be on my squad :), he is gonna be next).
Maybe I will get some good pulls from the wheel to fill up my stub account to buy a lot of missing cards (TA and Spotlight seem like the most expensive for me, so I gotta wait them out). But I do not expect Rolen to be in my Lineup for the next 2-3 weeks.My lineup is pretty stacked rn, just my starting pitching could need some help (JohnDon maybe
?) but that requires another Negro League drop, because I do not want to buy Dihigo … Maybe there is a good crash for the next week-end-classics -

I REALLY want Beltran and Hodges, but good hitting first basemen are easy to come by and Bryan Reynolds exists as a watered down Beltran
I’m fine with being patient and waiting for a price tank to finish the NL

@YOSHI24_XBL Wait. You had 25M Stubs? when did they remove the 5M cap? I haven't had 5M in a couple years so didn't realize that cap was gone.

You just store the stubs in something. Like I had over 10 million in stubs stored in just the Barrier Breakers cards in 24 because you could buy hundreds of them for quick sell value. If I ever needed stubs, I could just quick sell them and get my stubs back (spoiler: I never needed stubs).
