Is anybody having issues with the game screen not fitting the tv screen and looking zoomed-in? I tried the “Screen & Video” settings on the PS5 and the settings on my TV, but it didn’t help. I tried looking through the MLB The Show 25 settings, but I didn’t see anything for screen size settings. Am I missing something or anybody know how I can fix this issue?

I did and it turns out that I had to adjust the HD settings on the PS5 back to 1080p. It was set for something that my current TV couldn't handle at 1440p. That fixed it. It is in the same settings where you adjust screen display.

@fyrfytrjoey_PSN I understand that fixes the issue but the game should play at 2160p like last years game. Downgrading display isn’t an acceptable solution for me

@kadylac1_PSN @davidb69_PSN I have my PS5 set to 2160p, VRR Automatic 120Hz Output Automatic, ALLM Automatic, Video Transfer Rate Automatic, HDR Always On, Deep Color Output Automatic, and RGB Range Automatic.

My TV is set to HDR Select Mode - Game Optimizer, Aspect Ration 16:9

The Game Optimizer is showing 119 FPS sitting in the Conquest menu. VRR is on, 12 Black Stabilizer, and Low Latency is On.

    I hope this helps.

I am not having any issues with the video display - in fact, the game looks quite nice.

Edit: I checked the game optimizer as I hit a pitched ball at Fenway and the FPS still showed 119FPS. I thought the game is supposed to run at 60FPS, isn't it?

I had to pause Conquest because I was laughing so hard at this. Nice!

The game ignores the screen size settings and forces it to be full screen, and for some games people it’s too zoomed in

I hope they patch a fix for it, the game really should respect the screen size setting 😞

I think they need to patch it, maybe submit a bug ticket for it?

Having same issue here. Also tried everything on my TV and ps5 to adjust the screen but it didn't work. I tried to submit a bug report with this issue but it kept saying "an error occured" when I submitted. I sent the request for help but in the end I guess we'll just have to wait for the patch 😞

    I have 2 Roku 1080p sets, a 30 inch and a 24 inch, I can't make the screen fit the 24 inch set.
