Hopefully we get a Tokyo Series program to kick off the new DD year... Make it happen SDS!
In addition, the card art for the Murakami series is excellent and these Cubs/Dodgers unis would be a fine addition to DD:

You are referring to Munetaka Murakami.... I am referring to Takashi Murakami. He is the Japanese artist that does card art for MLBTS. Not to put him (Takashi) into the game, but for his cool uniforms to be put into the game. If they do a Tokyo Series program.BTW: I do look forward to seeing Munetaka in MLB next year, or so... He should be a good, power hitting, corner infielder.

@xElRojo44x_MLBTS Even less chance that SDS is going to put an artist in the game. It would be dumb to add someone that never played professional sports into the game.

That is not what I stated. I said if we get a "Tokyo Series" program, then hopefully we can get those uniforms designed by Murakami. -

The new game and season cannot get here fast enough if this is what the forum is talking about.

@xElRojo44x_MLBTS Munetaka Murakami is currently still on the Yakult Swallows of NPB. How are they supposed to get him in the game when he isn't a member of the MLBPA? Think before you post.

Ok, my thread title says "Takashi Murakami".... Not the Japanese third baseman (Munetaka) with the same last name. For some unknown reason, sbchamps thought that I was referring to "Munetaka Murakami", the third baseman.

Weren't the Takashi card series, a few years back, based on his artwork? There is a Takashi Griffey, Feller, Gagne, and Mussina card in the current game.

Yes, the Takashi designed cards were first revealed in '22. This year, however, he helped design the uniforms, along with some artwork promos, for the upcoming MLB Tokyo Series. -
