So much to unpack, but thrilled to see Rocket and Manny. Those alone will get me to buy the game (just hope they don’t retire Pedro and Ortiz). The high school/college looks cool - getting LSU, Vols, and UCLA as choices works. But to only get to play 3-4 games at each level is disappointing. More game options in DD is great, hopefully they play well. Advertising on walls gives more realism to the parks. Sounds like team affinity may be going back to the team by team route, which is fine if true. Overall, I’m ordering today.

Gameplay looks exactly the same. Some interesting improvements to RTTS it seems, but without being able to use them in DD, that mode is meaningless to me. Manny is a big name. Bigger than anyone they brought in last year, but not a guy I’m excited about. Slow outfielders aren’t playable in this game. The new mode is interesting. I’d like to see how that works. Nothing I’ve seen so far is getting me to buy this year.

I am glad they made defense and speed more relevant in the outfield. Previously, users would just stack their OF with slow, bronze fielding 125 power guys and hardly get penalized for it. There was no reason to use gold glove and/or speedy outfielders. Maybe they could tinker it back the other way, but defense needs to matter. -
@xElRojo44x_MLBTS Yeah, I totally agree. It could probably use some more balance. I’d like to see fielding and reaction be more significant personally.

They definitely need that trot to first thinking he just hit a homer only to see Melky Cabrera come down with it. The look on his face was priceless.

My first impression: Manny and Roger are awesome (ARod and Bonds incoming … that is my guess). And I really like the idea about this hitting mechanic

If they don’t have an animation of him coming out of the Green Monster in the middle of the game they are doing it wrong

If they don’t have an animation of him coming out of the Green Monster in the middle of the game they are doing it wrong
There better be a quick time moment that let's you recreate his legendary diving relay cutoff.

Its hard to believe in one year we get Manny, clemens, bonds, arod, and ichrio. No guarantee on the last 3 but I feel like Ichiro makes sense with the hof induction
