Would need an Ohtani also, i believe his WS numbers were worse.

Was 1-8 before the shoulder injury, not exactly on fire.

And that’s not a knock on Shohei, I’m actually a fan, i just find people love to magnify when the Yankees fail, when plenty of top players didn’t deliver in playoffs this year like Jram , Bobby Witt jr., pitching can be tough in playoffs.

Yeah, no excuses for either. The entire series was hyped around Judge/Ohtani and both were bad.
