Hyper Series Collection - Vlad Jr

Is this collection worth finishing for 150k stubs with season 2 around the corner and the cards in the collection being CORE cards?

Well....you're gonna need core cards at the start of every new season really. Unless you have enough live series cards to put together a good team.

For the record though, i wouldnt waste the stubs. They're probably gonna be putting some of those cards in programs/conquests throughout the rest of the year

Not a ton of 90+ core cards, so it’s probably a good idea.

i have the live series collection finished. only collection I haven't done is the Vlad hyper series collection. Just didn't know if it was worth the stubs or not. I have a little over 1.5 mil currently.

lol if you got LS done and its only 150K to finish that, may as well do it.

I've had similar thoughts with less Stubbs. I bet it will come into play and that useless vlad card will be relevant at some point.

Only if you want that Vlad jr. Otherwise, hold your stubs for new players in season 2.

@Roll-Humps I would say „it depends“ …
a) what players you like and
b) what they may putting out
c) how far you are preparing for S2a) 3B is pretty weak. You could have Beltre there or use Riley. Or use a captain you picked in S1. Right now I have Vladdy in my Core-Lineup
b) if they put out new Cores, maybe we have a good one. Or maybe use a new captain pick (I assume we will be able to get additonal ones). And remember: TA2-1 is coming out. There will for sure be a 3B in there
c) If you did everything to get the head start you could Wildcard a 99 to play there… in other words: it depends
… Personally I would not spend the increased stubs for Griffey etc. since they went up in price big time in the last days -
Some of those cards are great early power creep cards for sure, as far as finishing, that’s only if you want Vlad. There’s a chance there is a Core collection coming as well, so the cards would be useful to have.

Go to Collections, then Special Collections, then Hyper Vlad Jr.

The 1st TA for season 2 is going to be 89. Seeing as they had a core collection for season 1. I could see them having a core collection for season 2 where you need the launch guys and vlad plus all of the storylines completed plus gherig. I would be buying barrier breaker cards for as close to quicksell as possible as they may go up in price come Friday if there is a new and good collection card.

I assume at some point there will be a CORE set collection that this will help as well. I would think the cards will be even more expensive then.
