@CDNMoneyMaker93 Gotta disagree there. The entire game is a lazy, phoned-in monetization pit. The 'content' this year is primarily packs, with token programs thrown in (with worse cards than are in the packs).
I mean this will be a subjective pov, I am enjoying the game as I play all modes so I have lots to do, but I can appreciate where you are coming from
I am really disappointed in how the packs keep rolling out and no way to earn one of them. I'm not asking for free hand out but a something that requires a time investment to earn a pack is not unreasonable
And thats the biggest problem in the game right now. A ton of packs to buy yet they limit our way to earn stubs by doing ridiculous [censored] like lowering the per game payout, making mini seasons championships a one time bonus etc. Collections last year required 260 or so cards to COMPLETE and they gave us a ton of ways to earn at least most of those cards. Sets 1-3, i was a few cards short of completing but at least i got the first 2 choice packs without spending a dime.
As of now, we need 280 cards just to get the first pack. Its not even gonna be possible to get there without buying stubs. Im a few cards short of Aurilia right now and theres not nearly enough content to for me to get another 160 cards before season 2.

Yep. Packs upon packs, but The Great Stub Depression of 2024. SDS is palpably scummy this year.
Can't WAIT for NCAA 24. I hope EA is observing this and taking notes....hell, at least they improved their franchise mode after community outcry.
-
Anyone on the game? Is there a program associated with this?
-
No programs just the pack and a free Jazz Chisholm and Jackson Holiday. That's it. Saw this and turned off the game.
-
Lol...love the...let's give SDS the benefit of the doubt early posts....geesh guys....writing is on the wall
-
So disappointing
-
Love that they released Jeferson Quero, who is done for the year with a torn labrum. They are so disconnected from the sport.

Dont be absurd, EA has their own years of personal experience where they know a sub par product that is greedily monetized is more profitable than a great product with reasonable monetization

You all realize in previous years they just let us EARN these cards through TA ??
SDS --- Your Upper Management SUCKS and I hope you remove your head from your rear but now I will just play the way YOU guys want find whatever fun I can in this joke of a game. Then when NCAA comes out and crossing my fingers that EA does not mess that up too bad I will move on along with my guess -- 10 to 25% of the fanbase.
Gratz SDS -- your doing a great job keep it up and find out what hollywood has found out -- pander to a small amount of fans but lose money ( for you guys NOT make as much as you could if you did things the right way )

Better than JD Martinez and his torn labbia lol
ps remove one B from that

Fine idea, awful execution.
-
they have been doing this for a few years now and yeah maybe I'm opposite what you feel but I feel like getting the chance to use a card from previous games as I'm sure there are cards that you played with that made you say "I wish I had so and so from ____ years game"s... I just hope we get more 42 series cards.

MLB the pack 24
-
@romeischillin Yeah, they used to be in the xp reward path(s). I don't think anyone is complaining about using past favorite cards, they're complaining about how they're obtained.
-
I don't understand the free Jazz card, wouldn't a free choice pack be better. I understand not wanting to put packs in programs, but if you are giving away a card, why is everyone getting same one? That is far from diversifying rosters.
To answer your question, I like these types of cards, but again they are just releasing content in at best head scratching ways.

@nflman2033 Jazz was last year's cover athlete.
