The Show Cover Curse?

I know it’s still early in the season but once again the cover player is struggling. Also didn’t help to be showboating last night down by 6 at the time lol. Jazz didn’t do too hot last year and the way it’s going, Vlad is following that path. Honestly, I wonder how the cover player is chosen? Thoughts?

Injury wise for sure by a mile, I meant more stat wise and overall season success. Like I said, still early but we’ll see how it goes. -
Cover player is someone that they think may draw eyeballs to the product, either on a store or a digital shelf.
Sometimes the player is deserving (Judge, Harper, Ohtani) and sometimes they are just the latest flash in the pan (Puig and probably Chisholm Jr)

Incorrect. Tatis was on the cover of MLB The Show 21. He was suspended in Aug of '22.
