I’m out of upvotes or I’d upvote this.. it’s like they only ever even make a tweet about a huge game breaking issue until the point at which they feel it would cost them more money if they didn’t acknowledge it. If that makes sense. They’re so obviously run now by money people, and apparently pay them the salaries of the PR department for that apparently does not exist lmao.

It's bad business to apologize -- you know, to actually say, "We [censored] up." Instead, [censored] companies say things like, "We appreciate your feedback! Both the good and the bad. Keep it coming!"
Then, since they never admitted to anything, they can posture that they're "responding to community feedback" and, most importantly, never open themselves up to returning money.
It's so obvious it's hilarious and painful at the same time.
SDS has been downgraded in my opinion to Blizzard "Don't you guys own phones?" levels. This company SUCKS.

@WhiskeyOne Bro I feel you on this. Absolute joke. I've relinked, confirmed the email. It shows everything on my companion app and I even bought a pack to see if it would go through or change anything on PlayStation and still nothing. I love playing co-op and already deal with constant freeze-offs. Even grinding out and not quitting first will get you the loss when you're up by 5 plus runs. This [censored] is absolutely trash.

Sounds like we’re in the minority since most people say the relinking worked for them. Which is more frustrating and makes me think we’re even more screwed because whatever SDS is going to fix for others may not work for us? Wish I had a clue what to do like try to fix myself (like SDS said to lmao) or sit on my hands and wait for them to fix.. but for how long, hours or weeks? Like no one has a clue because SDS doesn’t have a clue.

They literally tweeted that they are aware of the issue and are working to fix it... it sucks that you can't play with your team now but I imagine that this isn't an easy fix where they can give a time frame for when it will be fixed... if they say "You will be able to play with your restored account at 8am on 4/5/2024" and then you go to play at that time and still don't have your team you will be even more upset and call them liars.
I feel like most players weren't around 10-11 years ago when Sony got hacked and no one could play online... that was a rough time to get through

So I logged into The Show 24 Companion app for the first time and luckily it shows my stubs and XP like it does online, yet on my PS5 it’s stuck on the brand new reset account smh..

Tried logging into the companion app and my PSN account - which i never reset - still reads 0.

@GuyIncognito55 me and guy over here are getting the shaft it sounds like. Most other people have some sort of stubs or level on their companion app. not us!

It's honestly sad that this is even possible, I've been playing games for like 20 years and only when I was a kid did you lose all your progress like this. And it was always cause you accidentally deleted a file or lost the memory card. Ever since auto save function became a thing and cloud save this has never been a major issue like this. And to top it all off the lack of any sort of communication or timeframe on a fix is complete BS. Tried to relink and nothing all is gone stubs and hours of gameplay.

I am assuming that if they had more info then they would communicate it. Do people want them to come back just to say that they are still looking into it?
The worst thing they could do now is give an ETA for a fix and then miss it for some reason.
EDIT: looks like the just updated Twitter/X and basically said that they are working on it

Just turned the game back on, on my PS5. App and website are linked to my PSN account and console is connected properly.

In all fairness to SDS they did say they are looking into the issue so give them until the morning / content drop time and if they have not made another post then feel free to roast them cause they will deserve it.

@WhiskeyOne Charge back all your spendings associated with it, you'll lose your account, but at least you'll get your money back and you can invest it somewhere useful instead.

@SuntLacrimae50 hit the nail on the head.....this whole time I've just been trying to get them to at least acknowledge the live roster crashes across platforms (now w/ this latest fiasco I'm all but resigned to never completing a 9 inning game....)
