One thing that I'm having fun with... the Cardinals Team Captain card

I got to my first "Hitters Captain" and I took Matt Carpenter... because... he's Matt Carpenter. I completed the LS collection for the Cardinals. I pulled together an all-Cardinals team and I'm just working through the rest of the USA map.

Man, this is pretty fun. I always play these on All-Star difficulty, and I thought I'd struggle. Nope. Even the lower level cards (Nolan Gorman, anyone?) are great with the boost.

So, with the first Pitcher Captain card coming up, I'll take the Cardinals as well. Are you paying attention, @Dolenz_MLBTS and @Ericulous1_PSN ?

Are any of you having fun with the Team captain cards?

I’ve run a Twins build with Torii Hunter and Taylor Rodgers in the event a couple of times. Definitely fun.

I bought Adam Dunn to help with the National HR's for Dylan Crews. He's Solid. Just bought Dansby for my Braves squad...He'll be a good Shortstop with Byron's Boost too.

All Star vs. CPU is much easier this year than rookie and veteran. I play all my conquest games on AS and haven't lost one yet. I play on rookie or veteran and I lose LOL

The CPU actually will throw strikes on AS.

I've done the same with the Yankees. Pulled Seager with my preorder packs and immediately flipped him for Judge so I was able to complete their collection easily enough to get Bernie.

While the pitching side is still very thin, the boosts from Mattingly/Whitey really elevate the offense. Bernie - who I have to P4 already somehow - gets jacked up to like a 97 overall and is a beast. That 89 Gary gets very scary and even a few LS guys like Soto get drastically better.

Thats nice and all but after about 10 gsmed you'll finish off there team affinity and if it matters to you you'll be switching it up its happend to me twice so far the affinitys are way to short so far

I feel like I am still a long way away from the first team captain, which is kind of disappointing. I do have the Cardinals 40 man roster complete and about 5 conquest games away from the powerless version of Musial.
