The pitchers pitching 75% balls is a pretty major issue, and the fact it hasn’t been fixed yet is concerning. But that aside, I do t think this launch has been as bad as previous years have been, and certainly not as bad as other games in general (as others have stated).
MLB the Show specifically had a terrible release last year. The game was literally unplayable for the first three weeks due to server errors.

I had that game! Horrible! My stepfather would only buy us games that were on sale...and no games were on a bigger sale than ET. That was almost child abuse. Thank god for my mom, Christmas, and my Genesis.

@xElRojo44x They can promote it all they want but historically, Switch has never been on the console level of PS or XB. If you go to the grocery store and see a market brand cereal with the tagline "Just as good as name brand....", it doesnt make it so. The consumer is always at fault for buying a subpar product expecting top tier quality.

@Easy_Duhz_It_ only problem besides the game here is the brain missing in your dense skull. They put out a product on switch that is unplayable. Go buy more stubs on your ps5 instead of trolling customers that were scammed

They killed Battlefront 2 for that garbage. No Ahsoka, Padme, Ventress, Cad Bane, X-Wing pilot as reinforcements, Mandalorian characters, and so many missing planets.

THis isnt even the worst launch for MLB the show, let alone forever. One year it so unplayable due to server issues they had to give everyone a 20 pack of packs as compensation. Of course regarding the switch it most definitely would feel that way, but not on PS5 to me.
Also if you play the giants and they put Tristan Beck in, he looks like the hamburglar from McDonalds lol. His hat comes across his face and he has these big eyes where the top of the hat is LOL
