MLB The Show 23 Report Card
-
mine came 12:06pm CST , very interesting and informative, seems I may need to attend an addicts group or something with my numbers. (I would go to meetings if they have '24 at them, lol)
-
Yes through email, mine came at 12:31pm est

@X-FREEZE-OFF-X email for me.

@MrDeweyCoXX my analysis show that Moments, by FAR, was my biggest allocation. I need help.
-
Same with me it was moments then mini seasons, and I didn't even do all the moments, I do like the report card it tells me what I did the most of but I wish I did more mini seasons and conquest than the moments. The moments were a real grind this year
-
I think the report was awesome as I stated above but I think it is a bit misleading regarding Moments and even showdowns. Moments involve most of the time one at bat, think how many ABs you get playing CPU or even all the 3 inning games in Mini Seasons and Conquest. Total those ABs and then compare to the ABs in all the moments. just my take. EX. (674 CPU games vs. 1024 moments) Should also state I started '23 in Sept, the first of the year I was completing 21 & 22.
-
I will also add here since this site will be going away at some point, I take care of my disabled mother alone full time who is in her 80's. She can only move her arms from the elbow. This game has become my care-givers stress relief, I have been living and helping Mom full time 9 years this May and without the show to take my mind of things I am not sure how sane I would be now or even alive. Let's Go '24 !!
-
Wonder if they took onto consideration rhe number of times you had to redo a Moment because the cpu pitcher wouldn't throw strikes.
A 3 inn MS game could take about 15-20 mins. You could spend that much time on one Moment and still not finish it.
Also, Storylines videos, did they count that time as doing a Moment?
-
I hope my report comes through soon.
-
I feel you deweycox I had to help take care of my grandmother for 8 years before she passed in 2020 then 2 years later my aunt died unexpectedly and no one found her for months, so playing this game has been a savior for me when I first got it in Sept of 22. Before that I was a mess from my grandmother dying
-
Mine finally came in at 9:55pm pacific. I’m not sure how correct it is though, because Buck O’Neil (set 3) was my primary first baseman, and he doesn’t even show up.
-
Have not seen mine yet but my scouting report e-mails have been spotty at best this year.
-
Mine arrived 2 hours ago … Wish for next year: Make an additional online/offline and some minimum of ABs … My highest BA in Set 3 was „Jim Rice“ (@Costco probably)
-
I got mine. It’s so wrong that it’s laughable. I’ll just reference them saying Ozzie Smith is my most homeruns from set 3, which is Joc Pederson with 52 and counting from my Dodgers theme team. I think Ozzie had 0. I probably played so many games it broke their calculators.
Edit: It’s actually Lightning Ohtani that has my most homeruns from set 3 with 54.

I took care of my wife for five years before she passed. Couldn't do it full time, but used gaming as my fortress of solitude. She was the one that convinced me to stop Madden and start The Show. Even bought me my PS4. God bless, brother.

It's interesting. 4 out of 5 SP are in my current rotation. LS Ohtani is #1 in all core categories. Not surprising.
-
My report is wrong, just as I suspected.
It shows MS Elly as having the most Set 3 HRs (51) when, in actuality, it's JK Buck O'Neil (60) with around 200 less ABs (568 vs 396). I only used S3 ASG Salvador Perez in 12 games and his BA is .509. That well may be the highest of all my S3 cards (as stated in my report - I have to search that one out), but it's only over 12 games and 53 AB.
Edit: I am looking through my S3 cards and my HRD Pederson's BA is .667. Yeah, so that's wrong too. In fact, I have a lot of players with 12 games or less (mostly less than 10) that have a lot higher BAs than .509

My report is straight up bizarre. I have to validate, but there's no way that some of these Core cards led my team in HRs - lol.
-
@Blind_Bleeder @arvcpa_MLBTS
None of the homerun leaders are correct on my report card. I suspect the rest is not accurate. Not sure what the minimum data requirement is for batting average and ERA but it must be small for the players they have up on batting average on some of them in my report.
-
The same team that developed the Mini Season stats must have created this report.
