Alex Rodriguez
Jimmy Rollins
Gary Sheffield
Chase Utley
Omar Vizquel
Billy Wagner
David Wright - maybe
Told Helton - maybe
Torii Hunter - maybe--
I use to be on one of those get off my lawn people when it came to the HOF. But in the last 3/4 years, with them letting in Hall of Very Good players in, I say why not and let some good players in for a change.
Maybe the baseball HOF will become more like the NFL HOF where they let anyone in but they're smart doing that because it markets the NFL better.

Agreed, the only ones I think deserve to be in the hall of fame are Helton, Wright and Mauer. I loved Ramirez growing up but he dosn't stand a chance of getting in. If he gets in then Bonds deserved to get in.

I don’t personally think Wright will get in. Beltre will get in on the first ballot for his 3000 hits and defense. He’s got almost 100 WAR.

I’d like to see Wagner and Helton as well as Beltre. Then again I’d also like to see Arod Bonds McGwire and Pete Rose in there among others.

I know people give Helton a hard time for the Colorado air advantage, but I saw a short video about him and his away split in his later years had a crazy high OPS. I'd have to say Helton, Wagner, Beltre, and Mauer. Plus I have soft spots for Torii Hunter and Andruw Jones.

Clemens bonds and rose. Personally I don’t think Mauer deserves the hall for having just a few great years because his other years and the length/numbers don’t fit. IMO of course

Beltre should definitely be a first ballot guy.

i use to be hard line against putting those 3 guys in but now just let them in. If you're letting Baines, Simmons, and Rolen in, then these guys deserve it as well.
Also, put in Steve Garvey as well. Before they let in good players the last few years, it was so laughable nobody even brought Garvey into a HOF conversation. But now, he deserves to be in if we are going by these new standards.

If you compare him to other catchers he has ~2 more career WAR than the average HOF catcher and is the 7th best catcher.
