Will there be team affinity in set 6?

Yes there will be a team affinity for set 6. Its a new card series called the Inferior series which highlights the worst or most disappointing players of the year. Excited for the new Kris Bryant and Giancarlo Stanton card.

My guess is that they will not have it. Firstly where do you go after Finest and Retro Finest. Secondly there will be no need for any new captains because we can use any captain from any set at that point.
I usually don't pay much attention to the game in Dec normally but with season 6 starting just a few weeks before the holidays I am not expecting much in the way of content beyond the XP reward path, which will probably be loaded with the updated 99s for legends that many have been anticipating.

I’m guessing new content ends with season 5. Season 6 is going to be all about rewind packs and the the freedom to use any card you want. Any additional cards would be event rewards if anything

Isn't it going to be like normal? No new content, except a couple of cards around new years. Where they just redo previous programs so new players can catch up.

In the set dropdown in game when you filter your lineup, there is a Set 6 listed. If they don't plan on releasing new players in Set 6, why have a Set 6 in the dropdown.

So that any card can be used in lineups. If you have any S4 lineups still left you can't put any S5 cards in it.

I have 6 of them from set 2. Flaherty, Carlson, Dejong, Gomez, Mancini and Alzolay. They gave them away in a pack for free.

I imagine there will be cards, otherwise set 6 is not really a thing. If it were just season 6 I’d say no. But it’s a Set so it stands to reason it needs to be comprised of something. With that said, who knows what would be released. Because every card will be available, there is nothing left to release. Except a better Mays and Gehrig
