I’m pretty sure the boost is locked to the cards in the game and won’t be added to 2023 winners. Nice try though. For example if someone hit 50 homeruns they wouldn’t have gotten the Sosa boost either.

Why do you doubt it? In a year they celebrated the Clemente award with a program, it is viable they would include the 2023 award winner. They have given award cards at the end of the year before - in fact, they did it for Judge when he broke the HR record. I wouldn't count it out. So what if it makes all of his cards eligible for the boost? What's wrong with that?

My guess is captain boosts are preprogrammed and already done. You don’t see anything special for Jackie in a year they introduced the Negro League into the game. That argument seems weak. I won’t respond after this.

SDS giving out awards series cards for that years awards winners is only something people think is going to happen it never actually does. they get finest cards

It does not have to be an award card to be eligible for the Cap boost. Eric Davis' S2 "incognito" card works with the Lindor Cap boost, as does all of his cards. Same with Delgado, Gwynn, etc. -
We'll be updating all of Aaron Judge's cards to be eligible for the Roberto Clemente Award Winners captain and the changes will go live alongside the content update on Friday.
