The most effective change ups in video game are super slow.
-
Anyone tried that new 99 Patrick Corbin yet? His 12-6 floats in there like a balloon at 68mph which looks much slower thanks to decent velocity (95 I think) on his FB. I threw one earlier and I’m still waiting for it to cross the plate

What do you mean by much better? In general it's high speed pitches that have more success in video game form. Do you mean better statted or like actually different?
Actually different would be nice too, but I won’t be greedy. And by that I mean that he throws two different changeups, one with fade and one with cut. Strasburg did the same.

Wainwright's curveball should be better as well

It should be the 12-6 Uncle Charlie Curveball

That was almost a coherent sentence.

At least he didn’t write- “what you all cryin about today?”
Also, I think it’s safe to say all our NL Central teams will be playing golf next week.

I’m not sure, the Brewers have a nice rotation for the playoffs.
Terrible way for the Cubs season to end. The last 3 weeks have been brutal. But I think this year has been a solid step forward for the Cubs. The rebuild is finished and it’s time to compete next year.
Need to resign Belli, nab a 3rd baseman, and get some relief help. Still lots of help coming up from the minors. Very excited about Cade Horton. I’ll pass on Shohei if he’s going to cost as much as I think he will.

My team starts playing golf every October 2.
The Pirates, Diamondbacks, Orioles, and Rangers all lost 100 games two years ago. Three of those teams made the playoffs this year. I'll give you a hint... the Pirates weren't one of them.

Bummer to hear that Woodruff may miss the playoffs but they still could be dangerous. Elite pitching even without Woodruff and he may be back, amazing closer and while the lineup doesn’t match up with the Braves, Phillies or Dodgers, they are 2 guys getting hot away from being an elite team. Just ask the Giants of 2010, 2012 and 2014 when guys like Cody Ross and Marco Scutaro led the charge alongside an elite staff. So yeah, I’m with you on the Brew Crew.

Just wait till next year my friend. There’s always next year. Well, unless you are in Oakland.

I used him. Threw a complete game with him. Much better than I thought he would be.

Kyle Hendricks’ changeup needs to be much better on his Prime card. It’s his best pitch and has been one of the best in the league for a decade. Stuff like this kills immersion.
That card threw really well for me. More accurate than most of my 99s. I'm still (vainly) hoping Nolan Ryan gets a 99 Angels card. 2 99 Astro cards, but none for Rangers or Angels. Whoever decided cards this year needs to switch places with the card art person.
