Does anyone else feel more than a little deceived with this program? Like if they knew this was going to be a program and 99 Diamond Sosa and McGwire cards were going to be available for free, they wouldn’t have dumped hundreds of thousands of stubs into live series collections this whole freaking time instead of the other collections? Am I the only one that feels totally ripped off here?

When the McGwire collection card was an A's card I assumed that we would get a 99 St Louis card at some point.

Yes and no; most the players are garb (as usual with programs this year, filler for collections), but I destroy with the McGwire.

Not really as I'd have eventually done the LS collection anyway. I do think it's another example of bad/indifferent planning though. Something has seemed way off at SDS this year, like the old cliche of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.

No. I didn’t find getting the Core Sosa and McGwire cards all that difficult.

Thats true. He only had those 2 full seasons in St Louis, but they were memorable.

I'm just amazed we got a David Justice in this program. As a Justice fan, I'll gladly take it, but 1997 was his big year in Cleveland. It is a weaker card than the Charisma, but the Great 98 will be my LF until season 6, even though there are better options.

I'm disappointed but not surprised. I feel like LS collection card rewards for NL and AL plus overall should be the only 99 for that player for the entire year.

Did you play last years game? Or did you just forget Randy Johnson had at least 1 other 99 on top of the LS collection 99.

I guess we all wait to see if we get an end of game second 99 Jeter that is even more boosted than the fantasy land 99 collection reward.

The Doly! How far along are you in Starfield? I finished Act ! in Diablo but jumped into Starfield and haven't put it down since I started. I'm at lvl 11 playing as a bounty hunter

Haven't gotten the McGwire yet, so I'll reserve judgement on him. Nen's good, as is the norm with Diamond Nen cards, granted I'm offline. And Pedro's been a good workhorse to get the PXP. But that Sosa plays more like a 9.9, that card is bad.

I did and that in no way changes any of what I said. Not sure your point.

Big mac's 99 core from the A's has the worst swing in the game, i don't mind this 99 he gets, and the 99 core sosa was already crazy, completely fine with this program.
