Another prime example of SDS excellence and class

Thuney has announced he is no longer an e-sports ambassador for SDS and said it was not his decision and the reason the decision was made is because he had talked negatively in public about the current state of the tournaments organized by SDS.
For those who don't know, Thuney is the guy who does the commentary for the games and he is beloved by the community who participates in these events. He is very passionate and, like many others, he would like to see MLBTS make significant steps to become a worthy e-sports title.
But since the tournaments have been a hot mess and SDS doesn't seem to care about it, he voiced his frustrations on his personal social platform. This lead SDS to strip him from his ambassador role moving forward.
Classy as always SDS, great work. You truly understand how to build a community.

Goodness is this not exactly what just happened / is still happening with the Baltimore Orioles with Kevin Brown? All he did was mention the O’s had lost their previous 15 series at Tropicana against the Rays and one of the higher ups got offended and pulled the plug on him…disgraceful.
What th’ poopie is wrong with people? We’re living in a time where facts are considered defamatory…well Pappy always said “if you don’t like the facts, then do something to try and improve upon them.” -

I’m not a big fan either as his shtick, like McGunski’s , is pretty juvenile. But fully agree with you.
But if SDS isn’t going to allow content creators to have freedom of speech on their product, this won’t end well.

Dont get me wrong what DC said was way over the top. But still it’s his right to say what he wants. SDS didn’t see it that way. I enjoy him and follow him. He’s not the greatest player in the world like others but that’s what I like about him. I’m honestly surprised he didn’t sue benign they are taking away money from him

I keep going back to Cbrev. I don't watch a whole lot of streamers, but he put out some pretty interesting content for the last few years. Then, SDS hires him and says he'll be handling the forums. However, there's been no engagement from him over here. Plus, he put out a few videos during the "Set 1" season, and now... nothing. He was getting 30-40k views on some of his videos. These other developments people are pointing out are discouraging.

I love CBrev and I was genuinely happy for him that he got this job. Seemed like he was gonna bridge that gap between SDS and their community which is undeniably there and has been for many years. But now I feel like they silenced him too.
They probably make jokes about the amount of complaints that float around here (Ramone actually confirmed that this atmosphere exists amongst SDS employees when he got caught off guard on stream) and they are most likely forcing this narrative on to CBrev. Like "no matter what you do, there will always be complaints".
And you know what, they are probably not even wrong for that. But does that give you an excuse to just sit back and ignore EVERYTHING and just throw the towel pretty much? -

I'd be happy to run the forum, and... I'd do a great job! There will always be negativity but just ENGAGE.

I agree! I have a communications background myself in a managing role and I would've been fired from every single job I had if I conducted myself the way SDS does.

Here's a thought, don't personally insult the devs. Be frustrated with the game if you want, question their decisions and direction if needed. But, if you have to result to vulgar insults towards any of the devs, then you don't get any sympathy from me.

That may be true, but does that deserve a ban? I think he should be free to speak his mind. Most of us can see beyond the rant and most likely not think too highly of him as a result. Isn't that enough?
