I am making the assumption that the top players for the month who are also in the all-star game will get an All-Star card instead.

Top 10 in June based on WAR

    1. Shohei Ohtani
    2. Fernando Tatis Jr.
    3. Ronald Acuna Jr.
    4. Luis Robert
    5. Jose Ramirez
    6. Corey Seager
    7. Mookie Betts
    8. Christian Walker
    9. Corbin Carroll
    10. Michael Harris II

Bolded players made the all-star team. So seven out of the top ten position players in June are in the all star game. 5 out of those seven are starters.

That opens the door for Tatis Jr, Walker or Micheal Harris II.

Or possibly one of the all star reserves (Ramirez or Luis Robert) but Luis Robert was in last months POTM program and they rarely, if ever, double up.

My guess is that all three non-all-stars are in the POTM program. The only question is in what order.

Beautiful assumption and research here. I think you’re probably right, especially since Tatis card was set 1.

Ohtani Lightning set 3. That’s the play here. Get everyone a nice juicy shiny Ohtani to make you forget about the pay for 99 not grind for 97. You can’t tell me they haven’t been jonesing for a Lightning Ohtani. That or they’ll do something stupid like the set 1 Ohtani make one a ridiculous hitter and the other a ridiculous Pitcher. Thank goodness he isn’t in the HR derby….he’ll probably be MVP of the All Star game….lol Ohtani everywhere

SDS really needs to give us that Ohtani. It would make for one of the best POTM cards of all time, They would make the community happy and it would be a great start to kick off Set 3. They Judge one who’s a superstar. Why not Ohtani? He was the by far the best player of the month and wasn’t really even close. I hope they throw a Ketel Marte in there too for good measure.
