Roster Changes Q

I couldn’t help but notice Jazz isn’t on any of the roster change updates. Is it customary every year to lock the numbers of whoever they choose to be the cover athlete? Thought that might explain why he’s being omitted…might even be in the contract when you get chosen so that if you’re on the game cover then you can’t stink in make believe no matter how poor your season goes in reality.
Does anyone know the answer to this?

Can’t answer that but Jose Abreu is even worse and I haven’t seen him get any downgrade. He isn’t on the cover.

I mean, they would not lock his stats if he warranted an upgrade, on that you can bet on.
Now, if I was going to defend them I could say that he has only played 4 games since May 13th. It is hard to downgrade a guy who did not even play during the span you are rating players.
His four games he played in June he actually played well from the looks of it. July will be the true test if he goes back to stinking.
